Finally one full night dedicated to learning the fight after a couple of night offs and normal mode kills as people were away on holidays and she finally falls. Really nice work all, especially for sticking through that 1 percent (400k HP) wipe and wanting to go 1 more after our raid time end, that made the difference!
Kochrum... Kochim... Kimchi?? $%@ it we'll call him Billy

After last weeks brutalizing face stomping, the over-minds for raid strategy in TWM got together and tried to hash out a plan with our melee heavy setup in how we could take down Morchok and his twin..
The very first pull of the night saw us get both bosses to 20% compared to the >70% wipes we were having the previous week because something just wasn't clicking right. Our new strat was far more managable for healers but hitting the enrage timer on multiple occasions meant that we just needed a little more DPS. 20% became 15% then 11% then 6%.
The final moments of the fight could have really gone either way. Tanks getting insta gibbed and then both bosses running a muk and annihilating everything in their path. In the end just 3 alive with 100k hp to go on Morchok and Billy and it was all over... for them.
Nice work all, next week H Hagara.

Madness? MADNESS?? MADNESSSS!!! That's how tonight was shaping to be with the constant string of disconnects that saw us get Mythical Metal Dragon to 6% then 3% then 2%. After some keyboards and other PC periferials we flug around my place we decided that this just wasn't going to be our night and so a very pessimistic 'last go for the night' was called. And in classic War Machine style, this last go was the one we needed
There were some pretty epic win and fail moments which could have seen the fight go either way, but once we got to that last phase, you could almost taste the kill it was that close. I'll let the video tell the story.
I really want to thank everyone who not only made it for an extra raid night (when we were meant to go on break after Monday) and for hanging in there through the extremely close calls.
We've come a long way from being 10man bear farmers in BC to where we are now, as a fun, yet goal oriented and progressive 25man guild. We've picked up so many new quality and like minded raiders from all over the world (New Zealand, USA, Singapore, Japan, Israel and Australia).
It's all you guys who have the will and determination and share the same goal to kill stuff as one big epic raid group that make raiding and leading TWM truly fun and exciting, honestly it just wouldn't be the same without many of you.
So thank you all, rest up, drink plentyof that special holiday drink (Corona). Have a very Merry Christmas and a safe and Happy New Year! See you all on the flip-side in 2012!

Jingle bells, Ultraxion smells, Deathwing flew away, WAIT what? He didn't fly away we killed him! Well at least we wing clipped him. We will finish him off tonight.
Our first crack at Deathwing's spine after the HP nerf to Tendons during the week saw us melt the creepy things right off his slippery slimy back. In our first attempt plates one and two were flung off in single shots with little trouble but it was clear we were going to need an extra healer.
We changed up a few things and had a few hic-cups with bloods etc but overall it was a pretty clean kill with few of the problems experienced in the past. The whole raid is to be commended on their outstanding work to take this encounter out on only the second attempt for the evening meaning Ultraxion holds the record for most deadly boss thus far in Dragon Soul serving up more wipes than any of his other buddies.

Having the remainder of the night to work on Madness saw us make great progression and Ultraxion should have no fears of losing his title. We smashed the bloods every time and regularly made it to the forth platform going green > red > yellow > blue. In our best attempt we pushed the last arm tentacle to about 10% before we were wiped out by the final Cataclysm. If only we had an extra non DCing DPS. Maybe Santa will you new internet Gii?
All in all was an enjoyable night of raiding with carols and boss killing. Thanks to everyone that could make it this close to Christmas, we know it can be a busy time of year for everyone and we really appreciate your commitment.

The raid that almost didn't happen, well at least as a 25 man anyway. We were looking a little short at raid time due to some peoples mashing their fingers and computers alike, but we did some shifting, tweaking and added some magic chicken salt! Hey presto, 25 man raid.
Once we were sorted we rolled out in to Dragon Soul once more for another dose of Ultraxion's FPS death to PCs. Death is what he had coming to him but not before we had a few ourselves, once again thanks to malfunctioning and missing "click" buttons. We were in a much better place tonight poised and ready for a kill with solid DPS and a decrease in computer lag, we also had a secret weapon thanks to Gii. Shiny new Super Killer Bunny tabards, we were convinced they added at least 2k DPS to everyone. A few wipes in we were close but no dice, we needed more bunnies if we were to get through this. So we made a few final adjustments and at long last Ultraxion fell to his death!!
From one extreme to the other we went on to this expansions loot ship with Blackhorn defeated in two quick attempts. Some were left saying it may have been even easier in 25 than 10, either way it was a welcome quick kill after the gate crushing wrath that was Ultraxion.
We had a quick look at the big boy's Spine and managed to get off one plate but time was upon us so we will back in there again tonight to get the other two off and kill the Aspect of Death once and for all!
